Product Description

The Flying shear will be located after the finishing mill and before the cooling bed. One (1) encoder shall be installed at the motor/pinion stand of the finishing stand. This shall sense the exact RPM of the finishing roll. The mill operator shall decide the length of the bar to be cut, the exact roll dressed and shall feed the data to the MMI (Man Machine Interface).

Flying shear machine commonly pronounced as the flying knife is basically used to cut the product continually on the pre-set length at the speed of the line. These are quite common and useful in industries where without affecting the production process, products can be cut and hence the overall machine productivity can be enhanced
